The Empirical Study On The Region Effect Of Monetary Policy In Our Country

The monetary policy which takes the financial-economic organs'homogeneity and unity as a background in monetary area, maintains the macro-economic continuing and steady through regulating the quantity of currency supply. The region effect of monetary policy is to research the different effect in the different zones after the conduction of monetary policy.This article carries on the real diagnosis examination based on the conduction mechanism and the region effect of monetary policy, whether the monetary policy has region effect in five province of northwest by VAR and IRF models, and finally come to conclusions which indicate that not only the monetary policy has region effect, but also the conduction velocity, depth, effective degree, duration of monetary policy take on different characteristics. And analyze the reasons that there exists the region effect of monetary policy in five provinces of the northwest from the financial development and the economic development target; At last propose the methods of alleviating the region effect from actual situations in five provinces of the northwest: The construction of Northwestern Region's multiple financial system, and the implementation of the moderately different monetary policy tool in some experiment site.
