Income distribution always seems to be an issue in the economics academia, which is thoroughly the distribution of economic interests and closely related to people's interests. As Karl Marx pointed out, what people struggled for is all relevant to their interests. Theories concerning income distribution develop with history progress and economy development across the world.As reform and opening deepens and economy rapidly develops in China, the income of Chinese is increased and their life quality is improved, which witnesses the socialism reaches a new stage. However, we must be aware that income gap among the Chinese residents becomes increasingly wider, which will greatly threaten the nation's development. Not only is the income distribution gap problem a economic problem, but also seems to be a social one. Hence, an in-depth and systematic study on the problem of income distribution gap seems not only significant on the theoretical level, but also important on the practical level.The first part of the thesis is introduction, which systematically reviews the views of economists home and abroad concerning income distribution, and then outline the issues studied, structure as well as methodology of this thesis. The second part is a summary of income distribution theories, including the Marxism and the western economics schools. We must persist in distributing income mainly according to the labor principle, and secondarily to other principles, combining the theory with the situation in China under the guidance of Marxism. The third part mainly describes the situation of income distribution in China, which is unfolded from the perspective of national income distribution pattern, overall condition of income distribution and specific condition of income distribution. On the basis of description, the thesis analyses the causes of the problem. The fourth part is a glance of policies on narrowing the gap of income distribution launched by several developed countries, from which we can learn much in order to solve relevant problems in China. Series of fiscal policies solving income distribution problem are listed are listed in the last part. Specifically, the last part aims at controlling the income gap within an affordable level from the perspective of fiscal policy to promote the sustainable and stable society. |
