As the rapid development of modern technology and world economic integration, the environment which domestic enterprises facing has undergone tremendous changes. So active adaptation to changes is one important way for the enterprise to maintain and create competitive advantage. The strategic change is the fundamental means for the enterprise to adapt to the uncertainty of environment. The topic of strategic change is a frontier academic study of international strategic management. In the past 30 years, the management scholars have done tremendous studies on this issue from different angles. At present, this theory is further developing.The research is carried out in the context of the changing global economic and political environment, and China's unique environment of economic transformation. In the research, based on analyzing the classification, characteristic of organizational resources, and analyzing enterprise resource theory and strategic management theory, the framework of the effect of organizational resources on strategic change is constructed. Then hypothesis testing is carried out, using the sample of 84 listed companies of China's electronic industry, the data of 2005- 2009 and the method of the structural equation model (SEM).Through this empirical analysis, following conclusions are proved: organizational resources have significant impact on the range of strategic change, and the enterprise financial assets, intangible assets, organizational skills have positive relation with strategic changes. The more financial assets (asset-liability ratio), the greater the range of strategic change, and the more intangible assets, the greater the range of strategic change, and the more organizational skills (return on assets) , the sharper strategic change.Most of the researches on the relationship between organizational resources and strategic change are focused on different kinds of organizational resources, rather than the overall organizational resource, so to regard the whole organizational resource as a research argument is one of the innovations of the thesis. The approach of structural equation model (SEM) used in this thesis is a new exploration in research method in this field. In this paper to verify the conclusion that intangible assets have remarkable effect on strategic change also has a certain degree of innovation. In knowledge economy, as knowledge has become an important organizational resource, intangible assets of enterprises play an increasingly important role. So to pay more attention to the positive effect of intangible assets on strategic change, will guide Chinese enterprises to accelerate technological and R & D innovations, thus promoting the development of knowledge economy. With the actual situation of the manufacturing sector, the conclusions of this study have good practical significance.
