The Study On The Construction Of Information System Of Centralized Procurement And Distribution Sales Of Steel Commerce

Under the situation of the rapid increasing of steel industry, and the apparent consuming volume of steel in China reaching 47%(year 2009) of that in the world, the condition of domestic steel commerce has also experienced huge changes. Enormous pressure and a good many challenges have been brought to domestic steel commerce and trade industry during the past decade, especially ever since the world financial and economic crises starting in 2008. It has become the key mission for steel commerce and trade enterprises to expedite innovation and transformation so as to better conform to new conditions and effectively grasp rising opportunities.This thesis studied and analyzed the application of centralized procurement and distribution sales in rolled steel commerce industry, planed and designed information system construction of centralized procurement and distribution sales, and eventually studied and established an IT-supported mode innovation way for steel commerce and trade enterprises.ERP has played an essential role in the standardizing and organizing business procedure, controlling business, reducing risk, and increasing fund utilization rate in commerce and trade enterprises. For the model of centralized procurement and distribution sales, enterprises are demand greater support of a strong and effective information system, to ensure smooth corresponding and operation in multi-layer frameworks, and achieve the whole group level business process monitoring. Meanwhile, OA collaborative system, CRM(customer relations management) system and other related supporting systems also have synchronous information support and business financial management role for business operation. ERP system with these supporting systems should be coordinated with operation, so as to realize the coordination of business processes.By researching the status quo of China Railway Materials Commercial Corporation——the present leading enterprise of steel trade industry in China, which efforts to explore new business models and promote centralized procurement and distribution sales strategy under the new situation, this paper explored the difficulties and their causes of informatization of centralized procurement and distribution sales of steel commerce, and further proposes the scheme and implementation ways of information system for centralized procurement and distribution sales of steel trade in China.
