A Study Of Sinohydro Corporation Organization Structure Based On Infrastructure Business Strategy

Currently economic environment is facing dramatic changes, corporation should base on the macroeconomic environment, industry environment and their own conditions, change strategy timely, and support strategy by organizational structure optimization. Sinohydro Corporation is a representative example of this.Sinohydro Corporation is the leader in hydropower construction industry. But on the condition of domestic market gradually shrinked, confined to the field of hydropower construction has been unable to meet the Group's response to market competition and the need for sustainable development. In 2005, the Group has made the infrastructure business strategy.In this paper, research questions proposed based on the Group's organization structure in the historical issues and strategic transformation problems. This paper supported by the organization structure theory, strategy and organization structure theory, complex products systems theory, proposed strategy-structure-project research system, used the characteristics of complex products systems to discuss organizational structure problem. This paper introduced the Group's organizational structure history and the status, compared with domestic large-scale construction companies, and the world's leading construction companies, summarized organizational structure problems under the infrastructure business strategy, proposed the restructure direction of organizational structure. The Group should build a strong management structure at headquarters, based on the division and regional companies to conduct business diversification management.This paper established the research framework of Sinohydro Corporation organizational structure, from complexity, regularity, centralization and decentralization three aspects, researched organizational structure problems. It is important for the other large-scale construction companies to research optimization of the organization structure.
