The Study Of Space Development Model About Dianxi Urban Agglomeration Based On Space Suitability Analysis

In July 2009, after the proposition of the "bridgehead" strategy, which our country facing southwest open, the provincial government and local governments at all levels, positively, in-depth study, successively proposed the policies which they integrate into the construction of the "bridgehead" strategy. Dianxi Urban agglomeration is the "bridgehead" of the west of a major thoroughfare in Yunnan, which is superimposed by the effect of "China-ASEAN free trade" and "Lancang-Mekong River sub-regional" co-operation. The strategic position of the Dianxi urban agglomeration is more and more obvious. The paper explores the construction of the space development model about Dianxi urban agglomeration based on the background.Firstly, on the basis of arranging related theoretical and empirical researches of the space development model about urban agglomeration and suitability analysis research, the paper generalized and summarized overall the space development model about urban agglomeration and its successful experiences both at home and abroad. It suggest that the space development model of urban agglomeration take the path of "sustainable compact city"Secondly, on the basis of analysis and evaluation about Dianxi urban agglomeration space current situation, using space suitability analysis methods, adopting GIS analysis technique, make a comprehensive evaluation of space suitability about Dianxi urban agglomeration. It thinks Dianxi is belong to economically underdeveloped areas. Space status present the single-center development trend of the weak nuclear, with Dali as the center. Appropriate development space of Dianxi urban agglomeration is concentrated in Dali, Baoshan, Tengchong, Luxi, Yunxina,Fengqing, etc. Less suitable for construction sites, the contradiction between water and land is obvious, environmental bearing capacity should be improved.Thirdly, the paper proposed three kinds of space development models of Dianxi urban agglomeration, based on the space status and space suitability analysis. Including:center-distributed model, core model, dumbbell model. Formulate the strategy of spatial development structure about Dianxi urban agglomeration, with the space development model. Finally, the paper proposed that Dianxi urban agglomeration should be phased development guidelines in the future, for the situation of Dianxi urban agglomeration.Through the case study of space development model of Dianxi region, these hope to seek breakthrough for underdeveloped areas on the construction of space development model and can provide reference value for the space development model building of urban agglomeration in other western less developed regions.
