A Study On International Operation Risk Management Of A Group Co., Ltd

With the development of economic globalization, the international operation of enterprises which are mineral resource type, has already become a kind of inevitable trend. The complicated and varied international environment, however, has brought a new challenge to risk management for internationalization. As a completely mineral resource -based corporation, how to assessment, control and avoid risks in reasonably and effectively is a strategically subject for A Group during the primary stage in its international operations. Therefore, the study of this issue has very practical significance.Based on the actual situation of A Group's early international operations and the study of some basic theories and evaluation methods on risk management, this paper firstly describes the current risk management situation of A Group's international operations and identifies the existing risk management problems and its main causes. On the premise of which, this paper establishes a comprehensive system of risk assessment for A Group. Meanwhile, it also solves the problem of risk quantification in international operations by employing Delphi method and fuzzy synthetic evaluation method. Furthermore, according to the risk assessment results above, the paper makes clear the key point and deficiency of the risk management in A Group's international operations, and places the concrete procedure of implementation and detailed performing steps, and proposes the corresponding risk strategies.The paper analyzes the different characteristics of risk management at A Group's Internationalization exploring stage. The risk assessment model and methods adopted are feasible in practice. Although there are some juvenility parts, hopefully, this study can provide some beneficial explorations and help for A Group's risk management on international operations.
