Research On Land Resource Ecological Security Evaluation For Bai Autonomous Prefecture Of Dali In Yunnan Province

Land resources ecological security is a new theory in the last few years. With the high frequency and seriousness of land ecological problem in global, it gradually becomes to one of the study hotspots in the academic circles and the political and government circles. Based on the research results of domestic and international, the text takes Bai Autonomous Prefecture of Dali as a case, using the model of pressure-state-response to set up the ecological security indicators of land resources. By dynamic evaluating of the land resource ecological security in Dali from 2000 to 2009, we can see its changing process, current status and developing trend of the security. Then according to the present problem of the security, some counter plans are brought forward. The main research conclusions are as follows:(1) The various counties of Dali Prefecture in 2009, the composite index of land ecological security in Dali City is 0.72558, which stays the best condition in the whole prefecture. Yunlong County, the composite index of land ecological security is 0.44262, stays the bad condition and rank in the worst order.(2) From 2000 to 2009, the composite index of land ecological security increased from 0.45031 in 2000 to 0.6104 in 2009, the whole security level from bad condition changed into good condition.(3) From 2000 to 2009, the land ecological security of Dali Prefecture rises fluctuating and the situation improved step by step. However, it is noteworthy that the economic disparity among different cities in the prefecture and the land security level varies from city to city. There is a big gap between the best status city and the worst status city.(4) Although the whole prefecture's condition stays comparative security, we should realize the economic disparity and land security status varies from city to city. The difficulty of land exploiting, ecological disasters and the vulnerable land ecosystem are also the reality we should face. So how to maintain the present good trend of land resources development with the rapid development of economy and intensified human activities is what the government and policy makers should consider. This paper analysis the ecological economy and ecological function of the study site and divide the site into two construction zones:the east plateau and basin plain zone and the west high and middle river valley zone. Through the general analysis, the paper put forward some proposals for key ecological issues to the two zones. To the east zone, this area should to combat soil erosion, increase percentage of forest cover, improve quality of forest and develop ecotourism model. To the west zone, this area should to develop specialty forest industry model, take actions that suit local circumstances and build environment-friendly land utilization strategy.
