Research On Planning And Construction Of Community Center In Newly Developed Areas Of Nanjing

Community center is one of the basic units of urban grassroots administration, and also a complex of urban grassroots public service facilities. Especially in the newly developed urban areas, community center is widely constructed to promote urban development. This paper, on the basis of existing researches, absorbs the construction experiences of domestic and foreign community centers and public service facilities. Combining with the characteristics of new urban areas, the main factors are analyzed, which impact the community center planning and construction in urban new areas, and four problems are summarized, which must be considered during the process of community center planning, construction and using:construction body, construction sequence, construction standard and operation management. The paper then combines research theories and planning practices. The Paper also investigates the planning and construction condition and using situation of community center in Nanjing Hexi new town, and conducts questionnaire with the residents in the community. It summarizes characteristics and find out problems from the above four aspects. Finally, the paper put forward optimum ideas and specific countermeasures, hoping to provide some reference to China's community development and community center construction in the future.The paper is divided into seven chapters. The main research contents of each chapter in the paper are as follows:Chapter one is introductions, which introduces the background, significance, main contents, methods and framework of this paper.Chapter two is related study review, introducing the origin of community theory, summarizing domestic and foreign research progress and construction practice, combing community center type and role, and defining concept of research object in this paper.Chapter three is influence factors research, which deliberates the main factors of community center construction. The factors includes the internal demand of community residents, external demand of personnel from outside, urban administrative functions, social responsibility for public service, center system planning guidance and position in urban development strategic. The paper analyzes the possible influence to community center given by each factor in different states.Chapter four is problem research, considering all stages in planning and construction process, summarizing and discussing four problems which must be considered:construction body, construction sequence, construction standard and operation management.Chapter five is empirical research, which combines theoretical research and practical planning. Taking Nanjing Hexi new town as research object, this paper investigates the established community center and questionnaire with the community residents, and summarizes the current situation and problem of these community centers.Chapter six is optimization research, which analyzes and concludes empirical research results. It rethinks the current situation of community center construction, and presents optimum ideas and specific countermeasuresChapter seven is conclusion and prospect, which combs conclusion and innovations of full-text, and looks to the future research direction.
