With the popularity of the Internet and the rapid growth of the number of Chinese Internet users, the majority of Internet users----the contemporary Chinese youth, through the network platform seems increasingly active in politics. In fact, youth political participation through network platform rise of a certain economic reasons, political reasons, the network information technology maturity reasons, and the challenges faced by young people is also closely related. Youth political participation through network platform mainly for the attention of network news, setting up their blogs, web publishing and electronic bulletin board to send e-mail and other means can be achieved. It is no exaggeration to say that network platform provides a new and effective ways for the youth to participate political affairs. Young people are full of enthusiasm in political participation, while the younger generation platform for Internet users currently in the supervisory power of the network operation and maintenance of their rights and participation in politics has made such preliminary results. But it should be noted that the network platform brought vigor and vitality to a large number of young people who invovlves political participation, but also bring some negative impact. This paper aims to make a assessment of the status quo and perspective of their political participation in positive and negative effects caused by the prevailing circumstances. Then we can take some corresponding measures to promote and guide young people political participation of networks orderly to promote socialism democracy, guiding the network platform and the political participation of young people to achieve positive interaction.
