As one of the main force of national technology innovation, technology-based SMEs are developing quickly, and become an important component of the national economy development at present. They are in pursuit of innovation at the core and their final goals are to enhance performance. However, the innovation performance of most of the technology-based SMEs is low, which seriously influences the survival and development. Hence, in the context of globalization of science&technology and knowledge economy, how to improve innovation performance has become a burning question to keep continuous competition advantages. In this paper, the impact of knowledge integration, absorptive capacity and relationship learning on innovation performance was focused. Thus, overall plans were made for the interaction of enterprises'internal and external abilities, which provided the basis of enhancing innovation performance for the enterprises that pay attention to strengthen external and internal capacities.Firstly, on the basis of relevant documents, a theoretical analysis on the relationship among absorptive capacity, relationship learning, knowledge integration and innovation performance was carried out to establish corresponding research assumptions and conceptual model. Secondly, an empirical study was designed according to the conceptual model, which included the confirmation of both research variables and measurement methods, the workout of meters and the pretesting of questionnaires, as well as the large-scale issue of questionnaires. Thirdly, an empirical research was implemented on technology-based SMEs which came from the Yangtze River Delta of China, and the test of reliability and validity of questionnaires was finished utilizing SPSS16.0 and AMOS17.0. The hypothesis were verified and quantitative analysis on the impact of absorptive capacity, relationship learning and knowledge integration on innovation performance was accomplished by structural equation model (SEM). Through analyzing the statistical results, this paper put forward the countermeasures to facilitate the improvement of technology-based SMEs'innovation performance. Finally, the existent shortages of this paper were pointed out and the prospect of future research was proposed. The contribution of this paper was to confirm the mechanism and route by which these variables impact each other. The conclusions are meaningful for further understanding the impact of knowledge integration, absorptive capacity and relationship learning on innovation performance.
