Shanghai Zuoran Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. (SZET) is a professional company which is dominantly engaged in Modularized manufacturing for industrial Furnaces and large equipments, for customers who are operating in particular petrochemical industry, metallurgical industry, power industry, and the oil & gas industry, etc. Since 2003 SZET has introduced "State of the Art" for management concept and manufacturing technology from Europe and Asia. MOC project which exported to Thailand (including eight sets of 150,000 Tons/Year Ethylene Cracking Furnaces) is an important milestone for SZET towards leading company in this industry. It is a great achievement to have eight sets of 150,000 Tons/Year Ethylene Cracking Furnaces manufactured in the same shop.This dissertation makes a systematic and detailed study of the MOC project on the theory of project progress management containing WBS(work break-down), key route, risk assesment. During the project execution, demands for flexibility and speedy deliveries necessitate creative thinking and innovative solutions to achieve the necessary project outcomes. By creation and maintenance of a systematic approach towards process and product quality, SZET aims at ensuring that the customer's stated and implied progress needs are understood and met.
