In the vast rural areas, to develop marsh gas is significant for improving the rural energy structure, protecting the rural ecological environment, raising the overall efficiency of agriculture and optimizing agricultural structure and promote the farmers to increase revenue. This paper combines the foundation of agricultural development in Lingyuan with the advantages of various industries. It definites the direction and aim of the development of methane in the rural area of Lingyuan by analyzing the present situation of rural biogas construction, potential application of models and comprehensive benefits. Determine the development model, which is suitable for local Development of biogas, based on solving some problems appearing in the use of biogas and targeted measures are proposed. This study was designed to provide reference for the promotion of the biogas'development in Lingyuan.After survey we find that:the way farmers use energy still falls behind, but a welcome change has occurred, indeed. Obvious effect appears after the construction of methane tank, which proved to be more closely integrated with the leading industry; digester construction highlight the difficulties in use and comprehensive utilization rate remains low; the benefits of biogas applications are obvious, and the masses are more satisfied and confident with the policy on gas development. From the overall comprehensive analysis of rural biogas development in Lingyuan, we can see the problems as follows:slow and uneven development, scope and small coverage, inadequate promotion efforts, low comprehensive utilization rate and so on are still prevalent major problems. Estimates of methane resource showed great potential for development of rural biogas in Lingyuan. The annual output is estimated up to 228 million m3. According to more than 20,000 biogas in Lingyuan at the end of 2009, we can calculated annual gas production is about 7.4 million m3, which is only 3.2% of the total annual output. "Four in One", "a pool of three reform", "eco home" and "vegetables-biogas-fruit" biogas application mode, which appear in the development of rural marsh gas, bring significant economic benefits to farmers, although based on different industrial base, while access to a good ecological and social benefits. Combining of agriculture and industrial development with the direction of industrial restructuring, the writer suggests that we should focus on the methane construction, especially promoting "Four in One" ecological model of greenhouse gas, based on the reality of powerful greenhouse in Lingyuan. In the construction of the new countryside, "a pool of three reform", "ecological home" model should be superior to others as the courtyard model of economic development. "Vegetarian-biogas-fruit" model should have some representatives when we continue to expand the fruit industry development. Finally, this essay focuses on settling down the difficulties and problems which strain the methane development in Lingyuang, accelerating the pace of construction of rural marsh gas energy, and presenting six measures to promote the development of rural biogas based on full investigation and systematical analysis.
