Study On Performance Evaluation Of The Construction Enterprises

With the sustained and rapid growth of the national economy, China's construction industry have been expanding continuously, the quality of its industry have been improving, its production is increasing year by year. However, compared to foreign construction enterprises in developed countries, the work which was completed by China's construction enterprises each year was called the world's most, but profitability was poor. The overall performance level of China's construction enterprises is lower, one of the reasons is that the study on performance evaluation in China's construction enterprises is less. In response to this weakness, this paper mainly studies and researches on performance evaluation in China's construction companies from the following contents:(1) Analyse and research on performance evaluated status of the domestic and foreign construction enterprise, to found the gap between China's construction enterprises with the developed countries. In the international construction competitive market, regardless of the number of construction companies or market share, construction companies in the developed countries have an absolute advantage, construction enterprises in developing countries is still in the bottom of the pyramid, accounting for 80% of the enterprises, but only have 20% of the market and revenue.(2) Reference on balanced score card ideas, improve the traditional balanced score card model for China's construction companies own characteristics, and increase the social responsibility dimension which take resources protection,environmental protection paying tax in accordance with law,helping the poor as an index, establish performance evaluation index system of the construction enterprise from five aspects of the financial, customer, internal business processes, learning and growth, social responsibility.(3) Compare with several common enterprise business performance evaluation methods, select a method that combine Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) with Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation (FCE), establish a multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model(AHP-FCE). Take operating conditions of the China communications construction company LTD. in 2008 as an example, establish performance evaluation index system, comprehensive evaluate their business performance, analyze on performance evaluation results, identify the reasons of the lower performance, and put forward suggestions of performance improvement. (4) For the actual situation of China's construction enterprises, analyze on performance affected factors of China's construction enterprises from the corporate internal and external enviroment. Put forward the different suggestions of performance improvement for the different affected factors to reference for China's construction enterprises.
