Tourism Research Of Ancient Villages And Towns Based On The Theory Of Sustainable Development

As one of economic growth cornerstone industry in China, it has been playing an increasingly important role in progess of regional economy, employment and development of culture and environment as well. On December 1 in 2009,"Opinion on speeding up the development of tourism by the state council"was issued formally. It first proposed"cultivate tourism into a strategic mainstay industry in national economy"and measures made clear direction in the industrial upgrade, bringing in a new opportunity for tourism. As a special form of the tourism, ancient villages and towns tourism attracts tourists in great numbers for its rich historical resources and cultural background. Being the main direction of development in the 21st century, tourism is identified as the first objective of economy development in some ancient villages and towns with abundant resources. Ancient villages and towns tourism plays a crucial part in adjustment of economic structure and national economy.However, as the dynamic development of tourism in our country, it takes its toll on ancient village and town, mainly including a great waste of human, material and finance caused by following the old road of"pollute first, administer after", increasing exasperation of eco-environment along witn extinction threat caused by excessive destroy and low-efficient protection, gradual assimilation of national culture and vandalization of ancient buildings. It has been found that only when interests between protection and exporation are well balanced, can ancient villages and towns tourism enhance growth of regional economy and society development and protect cultural relics and eco-environment as well. Based on the current situation of its development of tourism and completely synthesizing the available research results at home and abroad, sustainable development of ancient villages and towns tourism is studied by relevant theory. It is aimed at providing an effective way for exploration and management of ancient villages and towns tourism, realising tourism with low carbon, creating a harmonious home and giving a powerful impetus to maximize comprehensive benefits in the economy, socity and environment.
