With the rapid development of China's tire industry, as a tire factory equipment supplier, D company also enter the stage of rapid development, the production task is unprecedented heavy. D Company has a traditional linear function of the organizational structure. And its organization of production and product innovation of the model are functions-stage-based management.In the orders soaring circumstance, co-ordination and communication obstacles emerged among the various departments within the enterprise, that make departments complain each other, and pay attention to their own interests. It is difficult that all from the overall situation of enterprise, and finally, those affect the products manufactured time and product quality.Firstly, I take a new mixer innovation as a case in the paper. the description of the case can reflect inefficient status of D company product innovation.Then, I analyze the causes of making the status of D company's product innovation. In the course of cause analysis, the related business management theory and the product innovation theory are introduced and defined first, and then the internal causes and external causes are obtained according to those theories.Finally, the proposals and measures are put forward based on analysis of the reasons, I hope those can help the company's management and product innovation.
