A Research Of China Seed Industry Industrialization Organization And Strategy

Being a special means of production agriculture industry, seed industry is to determine the output, quality, stability and sustainable development of national agricultural production in the genetic source of life-energy industry. The industrial development situation of seed, to a certain extent, reflects the wealth and civilization level of a country. Developed countries, especially those in Europe and America have a mature seed industry system, a high degree of industrial organization, standard industrial management, perfect laws and regulations. However, many problems prevail in the seed industry in China, such as, small-scale enterprises, poor performance, inadequate investment in research and innovation, low industry entry barriers, disorder competition within the industry and excessive competition, low level of industrial organization and imperfect relevant laws and regulations. It has been an urgent task for the present seed industry to explore an industrialized road suitable for China.Employing theoretical research, literature search and case analysis, on the basis of correctly defining the organizational characteristics of seed industry industrialization and deeply understanding the developing history of seed industry industrialization, the thesis mainly explores the organizational patter of seed industry and the present developing situation of domestic seed industry, and puts forward the basic theoretical frame of the development strategy for seed industry industrialization as well as the specific operation measures and finally get related conclusions and suggestions. The present thesis is divided into the following six parts except the Induction part.(1)The main contents and theoretical basis of seed industry. This is the start point of seed industry research. Through the exploring of the connotation, characteristic and theoretical basis of seed industry, this part elaborates the meaning and objective necessity of developing seed industry industrialized operation, thus correctly positioning the future developing direction of China's seed industry industrialization in theory and at the same time preparing for the later research.(2) The present developing situation of China's seed industry industrialization. After analyzing the scientific research, scale, performance, product structure and management structure of seed industry, this part concludes the present developing situation of China's seed industry. The analysis of questionnaire and the induction of successful seed industry industrialization in Shandong province provide logic thinking and demonstration basis for successive chapters.(3) Operational mode analysis of seed industry industrialization. This part induces three operational modes for seed industry industrialization, that is, enterprise mode, college and university mode, research institution mode. It also analyzes and explores each mode through case study so as to enrich the content.(4) The experience and inspiration of seed industry industrialization in developed countries. By exploring the present situation of seed industry industrialization in developed countries and combining the successful cases of America and France, this part concludes the development experience and inspiration of seed industry industrialization in developed countries, and it selects the refined and discards the crude so as to provide helpful measures for China's seed industry industrial development.(5) Problems of seed industry industrialization in China. On the basis of the sufficient research and analysis for the above parts, this section concludes the existing problems in the development of China's seed industry industrialization: inadequate system, poor breeding ability; bad seed quality, low marketing level; scattered enterprise management; the innovation ability not satisfying the strategic needs of seed industry development; imperfect variety protection. (6) Developing strategy of China's seed industry industrialization. Aiming at the existing problems, this section puts forward suggestions for developing seed industry industrialization: deepen the reform and perfect the seed industry management system; quicken the establishment of seed system with breeding, producing and extending as a whole; quicken developing and popularizing biobreeding and other advanced technology; increase the scientific research investment and strengthen the after effect of breeding; establish relaxed environment to the benefit of seed industry industrialization development; perfect the seed management system and attach importance to intellectual property protection.The creative points and unique feature of this research is: (1) Using strategic research, this thesis deeply explores the experience of seed industry industrialization in foreign countries, developed countries in particular, and extracts good methods and experience form their differences and similarities, thus providing reference for China's seed industry industrialization development. (2) By studying the theoretical basis, organizational mode of seed industrialization, the present situation and existing problems of domestic seed industrialization, quoting a large number of real cases and analyzing questionnaire, this thesis puts forward the development strategies and measures for seed industrialization and provides references for the development of China's seed industrialization.
