The Effect Evaluation Of The Development Of Tourism In Nanning On Expanding Domestic Demand

With the development of economic and the constant improvement of the level of living in our country,tourism consumption,as a direct level of final consumption,plays an important role in such following aspects as promoting economic growth,initiating social capital,promoting consumption,boosting private investment.Therefore,it makes a positive contribution to the expansion of domestic demand.Nanning city is the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,the central city of North Bay Economic Zone as well.By advantage of its geographical location and resources,tourism in Nanning city has become relatively prosperous.As one of the pillar industries in Nanning city,tourism shows abvious effect in promoting economic growth and the expansion of domestic demand.In this paper, with the analytical tool of EXCEL ,using theories of demand and multiplier ,methods of input-output analysis and tourism satellite account, the author makes an analysis to the degree of influence,tourism development on the domestic demand of Nanning city. Four aspects are followed to make this analysis:effects of output of tourism,the employment of tourism,the foreign exchange of tourism,the correlated and affected industry of tourism. Analysis of the effect of the tourist product, mainly through tourism consumption structure and the coefficient of consumption to make out the direct and complete output effects of tourism; According to calculating the coefficient of employment we can make out the direct and complete employment effects of tourism;Comparing tourism foreign exchange earnings with the total exports,we can conclude the proportion and effect of tourism foreign exchange.The author also analyses the effects of tourism on relevant industries from the following four angles:input structure,market structure,intermediate input rate and intermediate demand rate, calculating the contribution of tourism to the level of the national economy in Nanning by such three ways as backward, forward and lateral.From above results, the following conclutions were drawn. The effects of output, employment and relevant industry of tourism are obvious. Tourism is the final consumption industry,but the foreign exchange effect of tourism isn't obvious.For the sake of fully exerting active role to the expansion of domestic demand in Nanning city promoted by tourism,the author venture to put forth the following suggestions:speeding the construction of infrastructure and supporting services facilities,building characteristic brand of tourism,developing convention and exhibition tourism,increasing tourism consumption and expanding inbound tourist source market of Nanning city.
