Analysis On Development Patterns Of Industrial Clusters In Jilin Province

Now, the development of industrial clusters has become a factor of regional competitiveness. This paper gives a brief introduction of the methods about identification abroad.And we use methods of meso industry cluster analysis(location quotient)and qualitative analysis toidentify the clusters.The embryonic form of the five major industrial clusters has been show in Jilin Province, and the format a certain model of development. But there aregaps in both the development and cluster effect. This is mainly because there are still many questions of industrial clusters development in the province:less enterprises specialization, low enterprise association, the economic effects of thecluster was not obvious;enterprises also lack of industry contact, there is no effective enterprise network system;basic scientific research and human resource advantages, but the regional innovation system has not been set.From the 70s in 20th century, some concepts related to cluster are compared.Though about industrial clusterconcepts are many,but different theoretical foundation and the angle of difference give a definition industrial cluster have similar features.This chapter summarized five features of industry cluster:input-output relevancy,tight contacts between enterprises,concentration on location,shares of essential factor market and competitive-cooperative relation.After the research and analysis of industry cluster development model in Jilin Province, and we can learn the typical successful experience of industrial clusters from abroad. Strategies and ideas of healthy development of industry cluster in Jilin Province were given. Jilin Province should seize its rules and characteristics to explore its development path suitable in accordance with the development of industrial clusters in different patterns; the focus is to strengthen industry clusters within the specialized division of labor, the establishment of an effective enterprise network, improve the cluster effect;The province should enhance the innovative capability, focus on regional innovation system. The combination industrial clusters supporting public platform should be formed,an effective innovation system are also necessary.
