The Research Of Fitness Between Technology Choice And Enterprise Strategy

The global competition increases after entering the 21st century.Technology has become essential factor of the enterprise's survival, developoment and expansion, its function is very important.However, for enterprises, blindly pursuing advanced technology is not the sufficient condition of acquiring good benefit.Enterprise must make the efficient fitness between technology choice and enterprise strategy if they want to establish and maintain long-term strong competitive advantage. It is meaningful to study the main fitness between technology choice and enterprise strategy from a wider range of perspectives.By reviewing and studying the existing literatures, this paper first overviews the theory about technology choice and enterprise strategy, including concept description and relations analysis;then after exploring the internal relationship between the four factors: enterprise external environment,leadership management, enterprise capital input, R&D personnel organization belonging, analyzes and chooses typical indexes, then to establish evaluation index system;finally, based on dozens of enterprise interview and questionnaire survey from 109 enterprises, through an empirical research,we get the model about factors of affecting fitness between technology choice and enterprise strategy,prove and explain proposed hypotheses,then put forward the related countermeasures about improving the fitness between technology choice and enterprise strategy for enterprises.The conclusion is as below:first, favorable external environment factors can not only directly promote the fitness between technology choice and enterprise strategy,but also improve the fitness between technology choice and enterprise strategy by positive effect of enterprise capital input;secondly, leadership management is the most main factor of affecting fitness between technology choice and enterprise strategy.It has direct effect to improve the fitness between technology choice and enterprise strategy,and also has indirect effect by ncreasing enterprise capital input and strengthening R&D personnel organization belonging;thirdly,enterprise capital input is positive to the fitness between technology choice and enterprise strategy;fourthly, strengthening R&D personnel organization belonging can improve the fitness between technology choice and enterprise strategy.
