Research On The Relationships Between The Differences In Internal Structure Of China's Export And The Regional Income Disparities

According to the Chinese status, I divide the affect of regional income disparity into two categories. First one, export-oriented enterprise areas and the opposite, export enterprise non-concentrated areas; The second, basing on the enterprise technical, classify export-oriented enterprise areas into skilled labor intensive-oriented (S-shaped area) and unskilled labor intensive-oriented (U-shaped area). The article constructs the two theoretical models respectively, using two mechanisms to explain how the difference in internal structure of China's export affecting on the income disparity. Firstly, the income disparity within the industry, using enterprise export-behavior-choice mechanism model and theoretical, analysing how the difference in internal structure of China's export will influent the first category of regional income disparity; Then, the income disparity between industries caused by trade, using trade induced technical change model, to analyse the influence on the second category of regional income disparityAt last, the article derives two empirical models from the two mechanisms, and concludes two results with 1990-2009 Chinese regional industrial data, using Eviews 5 software for regression analysis. First, export-oriented enterprise concluded positive impacts on regional income, as the more export-oriented enterprises, the more local residents'income, and the income raise sharply benefit by the region have more export-oriented enterprise, while export-oriented enterprise concentrated areas add less income than un-export-oriented concentrated areas, causing the first regional income disparity. Second, the impact of trade induced technical change to the second regional income disparity is un-consistent, while the trade induced technical change happen in S-type area, the second regional income disparity expand; while the trade induced technical change occur in U-type area, the second regional income disparity lessen.
