Research On The Employment Effects Of Foreign Trade Of Tianjin

Nowadays, with China entering into WTO, international division of labor is deepening; the world economy is becoming an integrated economy. Tianjin, which has its own regional advantages, will become the major foreign trade development areas in the northern of China, and foreign trade has played an important role in economic growth and social development. We can analyze the influence that foreign trade impacts the labor force of Tianjin through realizing the employment effects of foreign trade in different industry, which has important roles in improving the allocated efficiency of the labor force, optimizing the industrial structure and reforming the trade structure, and which provides a theoretical reference of the comparative advantage upgrading and the economic reforming in the new period.This article introduced the theoretical basis for the employment effects of foreign trade, which ranged from the theory of comparative advantage, the theory of factor endowments, the theory of foreign trade multiplier, the theory of trade protection and the theory of endogenous growth to Michael Porter diamond model, in order to analyze the employment effects of foreign trade and provide a theoretical basis for empirical testing; then analyzed the mechanism and the effects that foreign trade impacts the employment through agriculture industry and service respectively, and explained the pathways that industries impact the employment; then realized the development status and trends of agriculture, industry and service respectively in Tianjin, and analyzed the employment effects of trade of agricultural products, industrial goods and services respectively in Tianjin through the method of Empirical analysis, and calculated the influence that the development of different industry impacts the labor force of Tianjin; then realized the development status and trends of Binhai New Area, and calculated the employment effects of foreign trade, analyzed the important role that foreign trade impacts the regional employment; finally this article provided the overall policy framework which solved the employment problem in Tianjin, which provide policy recommendations for the development of various industries in Tianjin, in order to improve the structure of foreign trade, stimulate economic growth and social progress.
