More and more scholars hold that the image of tourism destination is one of the most crucial elements in attracting the tourists. As the significant parten enhancing competitive force in the tourist destination, the image of the destination plays an important role in tourists'decisions of their destinations as well as their activities. The competition between the tourist destinations is actually the competition between their respective images.Therefore, the selection of these images has always been the focus of the studies in the tourism.The age image contributes to the beginning of the image-oriented pattern of thinking and consumption. And the pattern make China tourism planning thought change from the single resource-oriented to bilateral market and resource-oriented, and finally to the three-dimension phase, namely image-market-resource oriented. Directed by the three-dimension tourism planning thought,the tourism image planning practice comes forth quiekly. Nearly half of these practices are guided by the CIS theory.Besides this, there are also two other theories which are practiced rarely,that is the TDIS and the Framework for Creating a Destination Image.Because of the introversion and subjectivity of CIS, the simplicity of FCDI, and the complexity of TDIS, these theories can not function well in tourism planning practice.So a new tourism Planing method is needed very much.After analysing the domestic and foreign research materials for image of tourism, profiting from design pattern of tourism image in China. According to my own understanding, and unifiying Yongfu realistic situation, this thesis constructs the design method of image of tourism—ADP:Analysis of local features—Designing of tourism image—Promulgating of tourism image.and with the use of such relevant subjects of tourism image,the thesis explores the tourism image of Yongfu.In addition,the article also designs and plans the tourism image of Yongfu and ascertain the means to spread it.The thesis include five parts:The first part is exordium, it elaborates the research aims, the research contents and research methods, and conducts a summary to the overview of domestic and foreign academic research associated with this article to provide the theory and the basis for the research thought; The Second part is theoretical analysis of tourism image, it constructs the design method of image of tourism of ADP; The third part is analysis of local features of Yongfu, including analysis of geographic profile,tourism resources,and tourism image situation of an over-all illustration.Based on this,some regulations and characteristics are found; The fourth is designing and planning the tourism image of Yongfu.it is established on basis of analysis of local features of Yongfu and by the method of image of tourism of ADP, "happiness and long life culture","health preservation and recreation" are highlighted to mold tourism image. Finally is spreading tourism image of Yongfu, through combination of Yongfu's characteristics and the main means to spread is decided, and puts forward countermeasures to spread tourism image of Yongfu.
