In recent years, with the reconstruction, reorganization and reposition of telecommunications in our country, the overall monopolization of the telecommunication enterprises has been broken. As rare previous human resources are missing, telecommunication enterprises are also losing their initiatives in the market competition. However, the learned talents with advanced knowledge and high technology are the decisive factor to acquire initiatives in the competitions for knowledge-intensive enterprise as telecommunication enterprises. Therefore, it has become a new topic in the management of human resources in telecommunication enterprises how to attract knowledge workers, how to make their knowledge and skills fully exercised and how to make them retained and developed in the managements and operations of the telecommunication enterprises.Firstly, this thesis introduces the background and significance of the topic, the theory of knowledge workers, career and the career management; then according to the ample data obtained from questionnaires it analyzes the staff's individual career management as well as the current situations of organizations'career management in the ways of descriptive statistics, factors analyzing and square difference analyzing and so on; lastly, it puts forward the measures of knowledge workers'career management in telecommunication enterprises in the hope of giving some references to home telecommunication enterprises to implement the career management and therefore retain and develop the knowledge workers.The innovation of this research consists in the fact that, by selecting and analyzing a special group, the knowledgeable personnel in telecommunication enterprises, it concludes that enterprises should integrate and merge the organizations'and the staff's own career management when they carry out career management and therefore finally realize the integration of the enterprises'developing targets and the staff's career targets. On one hand, this thesis will enrich authentic proof researches; on the other hand, it will offer the managers of the telecommunication enterprises new ideas and methods to retain excellent talents.
