The Research On Influencing Factors Of Choosing Project Management Model

With Chinese rapid economic development, the domestic construction demand is growing. For the different characteristics of the construction project, selecting appropriate project management model is the key to ensuring the successful implementation of the project.In this paper, firstly, project management theory and model selection evaluation were reviewed and commented. Secondly, the advantage, disadvantage and applicability of traditional project management models and some new project management models were summarized and analyzed. On the basis of the literature, the construction project management mode selection factors were summarized and the three typical management models (DBB, EPC and PMC) were specifically analyzed. Thirdly, by constructing the theoretical model and proposing hypothesis test, questionnaire was designed. Questionnaires were surveyed in Fifth Chinese Nuclear Industry Construction Co. Ltd., Shanghai Port Group and Wison Engineering (China) Co., Ltd. Finally, on the basis of the data, SPSS statistical analysis software was used to analyze results of the questionnaire survey. Reliability analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were done in the paper and the corresponding regression equation of each mode was gained.The research of the paper aims to summarize traditional and modern project management models at home and abroad and obtain multiple regression equation of construction project management for mode selection by exploring the construction project management mode selection factors. It gives a reference for project staff.
