When our world enter the new century, more and more company are facing the tough competition, and at the same time ,many management tools and methods occur. In these tools and methods, one thinking becomes a tide and spread from auto industry to many other fields, that's Lean Thinkings.From the end of last century, lean thinking are the most popular method for production system. One book Lean Thinking written by MIT professor Womack was published at that time. But when a lot of company with discrete type production line are following this tide, many food company still operate under the old production system and production method.MK Food Company is a typical food production enterprise. Before 2009,company only use a few lean tools to improve their workshop, no systematic method. But the demand of market and customs are changing , the whole production system of MK company need one systematic thinking, one same index, one same improvement tool kit to break through this tough situation.First of all ,introduce the challenging situation that MK company is facing including some problems on quality, capacity, breakdown of equipment and so on. In third part, introduce the theory of Overall Process Efficiency and 6 big losses within production. In the last part, combine MK company's actual cases with lean tools, show MK's performance after it's lean improvement in two years.
