The Inspiration Of Ecological Marxism On The Construction Of Low-carbon Society In China

"Ecological Marxism" is a tributary of Western Marxism,and it is the second half of the 20th century ecological movement for advocacy and the rise of a trend. The responsibility of Ecological Marxism criticizes the late capitalism which characterized by global expansion of capital, then efforts to critique the capitalist system which undermines the ecological environment, at the same time explores the human response to adverse environmental measures. Facing on the trend of deteriorating world climate and the global warming, China has learn from the lessons at home and abroad, trying to build the society that people and nature live in harmony and taking the socialist road carbon.This article discusses the stage of development and the history of development of Ecological Marxism ,then focuses on the carbon theory contained in Ecological Marxism. First of all, the theory point the emergence of ecological problems is due to the capitalist system and the capitalist mode of production. The capitalist system is the root cause deterioration of ecological environment. Second, on the basis of attention to the ecological environment, we can not give up the"human scale", and should be clear human beings are the the main kind to change the environmental issues. If reversed the relationship between human beings and nature, it will lead to a variety of anti-human system, then result the minority rule the majority. Last respect for the laws of nature, then create harmony between man and nature is the relationship between the ecological environment in an important stepThis paper attempts to analysis the creation of China's low-carbon society to give reference and inspiration of Marxist theory , focusing on low carbon principles established to carry out low-carbon economy, low carbon awareness to strengthen and promote low-carbon lives described several aspects. This paper emphasises the low carbon principle, low-carbon economy, low-carbon awareness and low carbon life in create the low carbon society. By drawing on the Marxist theory of ecology and combining with the specific situation of China's ecological environment,we could find a right path for China's low-carbon society.Ecological Marxist theory is an extension of Western Marxism, at the same time traditional inheritance and development of Marxism. The theory criticize the capitalist system and the capitalist mode of production in ecological impact completely, stress the need to adhere to the "human scale" and with the ecological perspective of the ecological problems, and emphasis on harmony between man and nature relationship, so Ecological Marxism give an inspiration to the low-carbon society created. However, this theory is based on the development path of Western capitalist countries that appear in the special circumstances, so part of the theory does not fit China's national conditions, for example "Steady development" model, theory of small-scale and decentralized and from "economic crisis" into "ecological crisis" and other views. So learn from our ecological Marxism in accordance with China's national conditions should be from the system, structure, ideology and way of life so different areas, efforts to build low-carbon society with Chinese characteristics.
