Competency model is used to define the behavior of employees, describe the completed work to the knowledge, skills, quality and capacity of the model.With the establishment of different levels of definition, description of the corresponding specific conduct, determine the combination of model elements and core competencies required for the completion of proficiency. In recent years, the competency model in all areas of human resources management to the enterprise application as the staff really brings results, for the competency model gradually receive attention. Competency models have become a business and organizational human resource development and management of the important tools.We now live in the era not only is the era of people management, but the knowledge economy to the management era. Time is the key talent competition, talent development strategy has become a key business strategy for survival and development resources. How to motivate companies in the increasingly competitive environment has a strong core competitiveness, we must focus on human resources development, utilization and management. Insurance companies as the three pillars of financial enterprises, human capital value is the enterprises to obtain higher profits, and improve core competitiveness of the premise.From this perspective, personnel training and development of the insurance company has become the key to enhancing human capital.The traditional employee training system hardly help insurance companies out of the plight of the existing training system, so we competency model from the perspective of the insurance company's training management, advanced theoretical knowledge to practical work, the establishment of competency model Perspective employee training management system, insurance companies, making the insurance company employee training management effectiveness can be achieved.This paper adopts a combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis of the way through the questionnaire survey of insurance company management, staff training, analyzed the existing problems, and then from the perspective of competency model staff training and management of insurance companies to explore an effective way to establish a competency-based model, in line with current social and economic development of the insurance company under the required staff training and development of the concept and system, to improve the management of insurance companies effect of the training staff to provide advice.The thesis is divided into four parts: Introduction. This paper introduces the management of insurance companies in which staff training background, the personnel structure of the content background and significance, followed by key draw for domestic and foreign academic staff training and competency model and related issues, and combined with the insurance company industry Background of the main ideas and relevant research trends are pointed out in the process of writing the research methods used, the framework and the innovation of writing this article.The first part is an insurance company employee training management and competency models overview. Through understanding of competency, competency models, and the meaning of an insurance company employee training, characteristics and theoretical knowledge of the basic content, and existing insurance company employees into senior management, sales staff and others (management, service staff) three, combined with the characteristics of existing insurance company employees, insurance companies were constructed three types of staff competency model.The second part is the status of insurance company staff training.
