The control of machine tool auxiliary equipment is accomplished by PLC.The traditional PLC programming requires a clear understanding of the PLC hardware structure and electrical principles.It needs to learn special programming language.Configuration software has the characteristics of simple operation interface editing,good continuity and expandability.For the purpose of simplifying the operation and program editing,intelligent PLC operation and control software is designed and implemented based on Android.It combines the advantages of configuration software and PLC programming function.The specific research contents are as follows:The control structure and functional requirements are analyzed.Based on the modularization and hierarchical architecture,three-layer architecture is designed for the software.Then,the key modules are determined.According to the design demands,the main functions are modularization developed,including operation editing control,PLC programming,data storage and communication.Firstly,combined with graphical programming approach,the operation interface editing control module is designed to provide intelligent online editing functions.To satisfy the PLC programming demands,a table-selected method is proposed to realize the action program editing module and logic program editing module.Finally,the data storage is implemented based on SQLite.Modbus/TCP and TFTP protocol are applied for operation communication and file transfer to ensure the stable and reliable interaction.Experimental platform is built consisting of the intelligent PLC programming software,motion controller,servo drive system and PC machine.Functional test is conducted to show the feasibility and reliability of the developed software.The results demonstrate that the software can meet the control requirements for industrial applications.
