| During the long process of industrial tanks storage, mechanical impuritiesand heavy oil components are settlement into the oil tank bottom owing to thedifference in specific gravity. Not only do these deposits reduce the effectivestorage volume of the tank, but they also corrode the bottom of the tank. Chinastipulates that the tanks must be cleaned every6to9years, three-dimensionalrotating sprayed gun is generated in this industrial background. Three-dimensional rotating sprayed gun works like this: pump deliveries pressure towater and nozzle is achieved full range of motion through the air motor drivingbiaxial simultaneous transmission. Finally the water is jet to cleaning the oils bythe nozzle. As the direct execution unit of the sprayed gun, the flow pressure ofwater can be converted into a highly dense water jet to achieve the cleaning goalby the nozzle. Experiments have confirmed that developing a good performance,suitable materials and host matched nozzle will greatly improve the efficiencyof the jet. In the past years, numerous studies have been put the focus on thedevelopment of nozzles with high pressure and extra high voltage work as wellas low flow, but the research work is relatively few contrary to low pressure high flow nozzle. This topic is conducted research in this backdrop.Firstly, this paper introduces the theory knowledge of jet nozzles in details.Then the nozzle’s geometry architecture and the external flow field and theboundary conditions definition are established and meshing by using theGAMBIT software. Then from the start of the two-phase flow field, the insideand outside of the existing nozzle structure are simulated and analyzed by usingthe FLUENT software. Finally, the data obtained by simulation software areimported to the ORINGE software, analyzed and summarized, and drew theimage. And the relationship between the two-phase flow rate, pressure and theaxial position, lateral position are analyzed and summarized accordinglyqualitative analysis. Finally, by changing the setting on the nozzle angle andaspect ratio of contraction, analysis and comparison of the different angle andaspect ratio of the contraction parameters on the inside and outside of the nozzleflow field are done. We have obtained the optimum parameters for tank cleaningnozzle structure to achieving the optimization of the nozzle structure. Thisresearch has great practical value and economic value for nozzle’s structure ofthree-dimensional rotating sprayed gun in the industrial applications.Finally, this paper summarizes the shortcomings of the research work, andthe subject of future work is prospected. |
