It is an effective way of tar residue as coking coal resources using additive in coking blend, not only improves the yield and properties of coking products, but to achieve the recycling of waste tar residue. In this article, we are in the three devices which crucible600g, coke oven of70kg, industrial oven to tar residue as an additive. which gas coal, fat coal,1/3coking coal, coking coal, lean coal as the basic coking coal consisting of systematically studied. In this experiment we studied the nature of tar residue, add the amount of tar residue with coal caking index, coke yield, coke performance, influence of microstructure and chemical coke yield, to determine the best coking coal blending process, and in the industrial application of a coke oven.The600g crucible experiments show that the best tar residue was3%which improved the basic coal’s cohesiveness, improved the volatile content of the coal, coke yield increased to enhance the strength of coke and the thermal reactivity of coke, the coke is improved microscopic structure, and the best additive-containing tar residue in the Run for the high volatile. The coke oven tar slag70kg amplification experiments which add the tar resuide of zhongrun showed that the coke yield and strength better than600g crucible experiments; which consistent with the600g crucible experimental results on thermal reactivity and coke microstructure. The coke oven tar residue industrial experiments which add the tar resuide of zhongrun show that the coke yield, strength, thermal reactivity and microstructure consistent with the experiment of70kg coke results. The tar residue was added to increase the yield of tar and gas production rate, which also to the benzene and ammonia.
