Analysis Of Economic Development Impact On Environmental Quality In Altay Prefecture

With the fast development of society and economy, the problems of population, resources,environment and development have become the urgent problem facing in our country and that must beproperly solved. How to handle with these four problems will affect the developmental direction of Chinaand the people’s physical and cultural life. As a developing country, to achieve the national prosperity,collectively to the broad road of a well-off society, and sustainable development is the essential way for thesustainable development and our reasonable environment and development problems. The economicdevelopment and the rational development and utilization of natural resources, environmental protection isnot destroyed and the pollution is the basic principle of sustainable development. Historical experienceshows that, with the excessive exploitation of natural resources, destruction and pollution of theenvironment for economic development is not scientific absurd, in the new society in the new century now,to abandon the development mode.This topic adopts the combination of theoretical research and Empirical Analysis on the economicdevelopment of Altay impact on environmental quality, research method of combining qualitative analysisand quantitative analysis. Is the first at home and abroad on the economic development of basic research inthe environmental quality problems, analysis of the impact on the environment quality of the economicdevelopment of Altay area, find out the economic development of Altay area brought about environmentalquality issues, based on historical data and statistical analysis to the hypothesis and environmentalimprovement suggestions are put forward to solve these problems. The conclusion on the basis oftheoretical analysis is as followings:(1) With the Altay area people’s material and cultural living standards, the pollution degree of theenvironment with the development of the economy and not keep a constant, the curve is fluctuation.(2) The empirical analysis found that, Altay economic development and environmental quality indexmost do not follow the environmental Kuznets inverted "U" curve.(3) Based on the historical data of the collection of Altay regional economic development andenvironmental quality index, and the data were scattered points fitting, results show that, using differentmodel has different results.
