Food poisoning is a major food safety problem which threatening human healthand life safety. Improving food safety awareness and preventing food poisoning havecaused widespread concern of the whole society, which is important practicalsignificance to understand and master the law of food poisoning.In this paper, according to the number, mortality rate, fatality rate, geographicaldistribution, place and the responsible units, poisoned food, cause and pathogenicfactors, food poisoning were investigated, counted and analyzed, and the number offood poisoning on Nanchang urban area of2013was predicted by using a simplemathematical model. Finally according to the statistics and analysis, in-depthreflections on issues related to food poisoning were come up.Draws the following conclusion:(1) The number on food poisoning of Nanchang urban-rural areas in2008~2013was87,872cases were poisoned, and7deaths. BaYi Township has the mostpoisoning people, and Yangtze Delta Township has the highest fatality rate.(2) The number, mortality rate, fatality rate, geographical distribution, place andthe responsible units, poisoned food, cause and pathogenic factors are closelyrelated;(3) According to the statistical data of2008~2012, using a simple mathematicalmodel, three times forecast poisoning population in2013were predicted by themodel, the relative deviation value and actual value is15.62%, better fitting degree;(4) According to the Nanchang urban and rural areas with food poisoningstatistics, some problems were put forward, and come up with some suggestions andopinions to solve the problems.
