| In this paper the dynamic simulation of melamine process was set up, and the the process for the polymerization of melamine and formaldehyde was described.Melamine is produced under high-pressure by technique of Italy ETCE. First, the melamine process was studied, and the basic physical properties of material which is hard to confimed was estimated. Based on material balance and energy balance, the mathematical model was set up and the numerical calculation method was chosen to solve the model. The model was successfully applied to the dynamic simulation platform, and simulation results are accorded with the designed, which verify the correctness of the model.Polymerization reactor is a batch reator, melamine and formaldehyde polymerize in the reactor under certain temperature and pressure. The structure of melamine-formaldehyde resin is tridimensional, but due to the complexity of its structure and the limitations of analysis method, the polymerization process research progress slowly. Business simulation software uses "Generating Function Method" to solve the polymerization model, but its calculation process is very complex, and its error of calculation is large, compared with "Generating Function Method","Chain Analysis Method" is very simple, and it can satisfy the demand of dynamic simulation, so "Chain Analysis Method" is used in this paper. The linear structure and dendritic structure was studied in this paper, and it can calculate the numberical average molecular weight and conversion rateo The simulation results show that the model which was set up in this paper can describe the polymerization process well. |
