The Innovative Research Of Southeast Guizhou Miao’s Embroidery Patterns In Knitwear Design

Southeast Guizhou Miao’s embroidery patterns are the crystallization of history, culture andaesthetic taste of all Guizhou Miao ethnic groups with high cultural and artistic value. In modernsociety, Southeast Guizhou Miao ethnic patterns are becoming global consumable, we need toredesign Miao’s embroidery patterns so that it can be back to life. However, among the domesticand foreign studies, generally the relevant study is positioned in combining the Miao’sembroidery patterns and tatting clothes design, but not with knitwear design. In response to thisphenomenon, this paper takes the minority living in Southeast Guizhou as the object to studyethnic patterns. It aims to change the plane decoration type into some stereo type, and try to give awhole new way to combine Miao’s embroidery patterns and knitwear by finishing the graduationproject.In design principles, this paper aimed the characteristics of knitwear, and analyzes how tocombine Miao’s embroidery patterns and knitwear, to parse and extract meaningful patterns havetypically studied graphic language, based on these analysis and research, combined with today’sknitting trends and the needs of modern design, I gave several measures on combining knitwearwith Miao’s embroidery patterns.
