This topic researchs the extraction and separation of copper, nickel and cobalt fromAcid dipping of slag, and inspection factors of the test.Firstly,The prepared microemulsion system for copper is composed ofTritonX-100, n-butyl alcohol, n-heptane, water, P507and sodiumhydroxide.Firstly,Triton X-100microemulsion was prepared with compositions ofTritonX-100,n-butyl alcohol,n-heptane and water by volume at an optimal ratio of0.4:18.5:0.5:0.5,which was then used to prepare microemulsion system for separatingcopper from cobalt and nickel by adding P507and sodium hudroxide solution byvolume at an optimized ratio of20:0.4:0.4,with concentration of sodium hydroxide at1.9mol/L,the pH value of external phase at3.5, the ratio of microemulsion to externalphase being1:4,NaCl dosage of0.5g(external phase20mL),with water bath kept at atemperature of60℃. After3-min extraction, the extraction rate of copper reached up to92.63%,while only14.06%and9.86%for cobalt and nickel, respectively, resulting incopper separation from cobalt and nickel.Secondly, The separation of cobalt and nickel by the microemulsion system ofoleate, the microemulsion system of Triton X-100,the microemulsion system of P507and P204have been studied. The prepared microemulsion system for cobalt iscomposed of TritonX-100, n-butyl alcohol, n-heptane, water, P204and sodiumhydroxide.Firstly,Triton X-100microemulsion was prepared with compositions ofTritonX-100,n-butyl alcohol,n-heptane and water by volume at an optimal ratio of2:44.5:2:1.5,which was then used to prepare microemulsion system for separatingcopper from cobalt and nickel by adding P204and sodium hudroxide solution byvolume at an optimized ratio of47:1:2,with concentration of sodium hydroxide at1.6mol/L,the pH value of external phase at2.1, the ratio of microemulsion to externalphase being1:3.5, the external phase NaSCN concentration of1.7mol/L,with waterbath kept at a temperature of50℃. After5-min extraction, the extraction rate of cobaltreached up to87.4%,while only10.87%for nickel, respectively, the effect issatisfactory. Lastly, The extraction separation of smelting slag of actual samples by wehave obtained the microemulsion. The experimental results show the extraction rate ofcopper was92.45%, that of nickel was12.3%, that of nickel was16.1%, the extractionrate of the copper after secondary extraction. The experimental results show theextraction rate of cobalt was86.63%, that of nickel was only10.04%, the separationfactor is55.8.the extraction rate of the cobalt and nickel after secondary extraction.
