Study On The Environmental Performance Evaluation Of The Listed Companies Of Highly Polluted Industry In China

With the introduction of the "12th five years" environmental planning, environmental performance has become one of the hotspot of academic research. Evaluating companies can not only be confined to the economic performance, but also take the environmental influence into account. A perfect environmental performance evaluation system can not only provide the basis for government’s environmental decision-making, but also let the enterprises aware of their limitations.Based on the research results at home and abroad, referee to the theory of sustainable development and circular economy, combined with the actual situation of heavy pollution industry listing corporation, a universal enterprise environmental performance evaluation system was aimed to build in this article, which can be suitable for evaluation of listed corporations from different industry. The environmental performance indicators and financial performance indicators were combined by using the concept of eco efficiency and the enterprises environmental performance would be evaluated from4aspects, which were the corporate environmental management, resource consumption, pollutant emission level and the profitability of the companies. As the same time the quantity of pollutants emitted when the enterprises create each unit value was made as the pollutant emission level. The listed companies of highly polluted industry were taken as the research objects and the best environmental performed listed companies were taken as the research samples. Gray relational analysis was used to rank the samples, thus to compare the environmental performance levels of different industries at the best level.Conclusions were reached after the research:Corporate environmental information disclosure in our country is still in the lower level. The environmental performance indicators and financial performance indicators should be combined when evaluating the environmental performance. The differences among industries would influence the result, which should be eliminated so the evaluation becomes much fairer, in this paper an adjustment was built to eliminate the differences.
