Study On The Impact Of The Third Industry Agglomeration On The Environmental Efficiency Of Chinese Provincial Capital Cities

Environmental efficiency is an important indicator to measure the relationship between economic development and the environment.We must not only focus on economic benefits and pursue ecological and environmental benefits,but also implement the green development concept of Jinshan Yunshan.With the constant adjustment of the industrial structure of our country,the tertiary industry has developed rapidly.As of 2018,the economic contribution rate of the tertiary industry was 59.7%,far exceeding the primary and secondary industries.And the tertiary industry is a diversified industry dominated by the high-tech industry-related and low-pollution service industry.So,the tertiary industry cluster development can not only promote the improvement of environmental efficiency,but also affect the optimization and upgrading of different industrial structures to promote the coordinated development of the economy and the ecological environment.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the impact of the tertiary industry agglomeration on environmental efficiency for the realization of sustainable economic development and the strengthening of ecological civilization construction.This paper expounds the mechanism of the impact of tertiary industry agglomeration on environmental efficiency after combing relevant domestic and foreign literature and theory.Then,the data of 2008-2017 of 30 provincial capital cities in China was selected as the research sample,and the professional agglomeration and diversification agglomeration indexes of the tertiary industry and subdivided industries were calculated using the location entropy method and the improved reciprocal of the Hefindahl-Hirschmann index And analyze its development status;then use the undesired output SBM-DEA model to measure the environmental efficiency level of provincial capital cities;finally use panel data to construct a measurement model of tertiary industry agglomeration and environmental efficiency to verify the tertiary industry of provincial capital cities The effect of agglomeration on environmental efficiency.Empirical research shows that: first,overall,the tertiary industry specialization agglomeration in China ’s provincial capitals is higher than the national city ’s specialization agglomeration level;the tertiary industry diversification agglomeration level shows an increasing trend;from a regional perspective The specialization and diversification of the tertiary industry are different in eastern,central and western regions.Second,the environmental efficiency index of China’s provincial capital cities is not high as a whole,and the regional capital cities in the eastern,central,northeastern and western regions sequentially decrease.Third,it is confirmed that the tertiary industry agglomeration has a significant positive impact on the improvement of urban environmental efficiency.Among them,the impact of the tertiary industry ’s diversified agglomeration on environmental efficiency is stronger than that of specialized agglomeration;Specialized agglomeration and diversification in the industry and consumer service industries are the key factors that directly affect the improvement of urban environmental efficiency.The innovations and deficiencies of this article: Firstly,it provides a new research perspective for the impact of industrial structure development on the ecological environment.Taking the tertiary industry and environmental efficiency as the entry point for research,it provides transformation directions for the industrial structure development of manufacturing and agriculture.At the same time pay more attention to the ecological and green development of the industry.Secondly,it provides new research ideas for comprehensive research on the content of industrial agglomeration.It uses different methods to analyze the aggregation level of the tertiary industry as a whole and the sub-sectors from the specialization and diversification models,highlighting the diversity of research methods and the comprehensiveness of the content.Finally,it reflects the specificity of the provincial capital city as a research sample,and is located in the provincial capital city panel data according to the distribution characteristics of the tertiary industry and the conditions for the formation of agglomeration,so that the research and data of the tertiary industry agglomeration and environmental efficiency have a matching degree More reliable.Due to its limited academic level and ability,the research may be inadequate.The impact of tertiary industry agglomeration of different scale cities on environmental efficiency and possible spatial effects are not considered.The research needs to be further improved.
