Research On Heavy Plate New Treatment Line Of The Project Management Of Baoshan Iron&Steel Co., Ltd

The project is an important construction project in responding to market changes and increasing the products competitive.The first stage of Baoshan Iron&Steel Co., Ltd heavy plate line was built in march2005, the scale to1.4million tons per year. The first stage to build a continuous treatment line with the processing capacity140,400tons per year. We reserved two continue treatment lines area in the preliminary design which may be constructed according to actual situation of market and production.With the constant development of heavy plate, the existing a line of treatment is not able to meet market needs.The new No.2continuous treatment line and No.3continuous treatment line has the capacity of370,700tons per year. I apply the project management theory to this project management study and application to ensure a better quality of construction. It will bring great significance to Baosteel, such as improve the supply capacity,guarantee the construction quality and meet the market demand.In this paper, the author by using project management theory conducted a detailed researched on this treatment line Project involving human resources, process, device, configuration, quality, risk management and communication, security management work.At the beginning of this paper, author analyzes the current status of project management and its characters,In the middle part of the paper, the author articulates the research on the project management processes, such as the key factors, how it implements, how to control and manage. Finally, the author validate the research by assessing its outcome.The project is an important construction project in responding to market changes and increasing the products competitive. The concept of " one hand on production, one hand on construction" can be learnt by the enterprises in similar files as a very successful example.
