As the functional textiles is more and more widely used in the production and living,waterproof permeability textiles in textile field also plays a great competitio-n in the market.Therefore,the study of waterproof fabrics and the development of new products also more and more get the attention of researchers.At the same time, polyester high elastic silk is a new type of synthetic fiber.And,the development of high elastic silk products and the study of their performance have also attracted m-any scholars.In this paper,we designed and manufactured three new types of elastic fabrics taking polyester high elastic silk as raw material,then,we got the finished fabrics through refining process.Based on this,we adopted padding process to waterproof the three new types of elastic fabrics,abled to develop a new type of fabric with waterproof performance.Through the study of waterproof performance and taking performance of these new types of elastic fabrics after waterproofing, we found out that:(1) On the fabric shape,there were no obvious changes in the size of the fabri-cs,but there were obvious changes in the fsbric weight and whiteness after waterpr-oofing.(2) After waterproofing,these new types of elastic fabrics not only had a good waterproof performance,but also had good moisture permeability and permeability and their performance were better than ordinary waterproof fabrics.(3) After waterproofing, the bending deformation elastic recovery ability of fabric is still good.The fabric surface were more smooth,however, the soft feeling and volume were lower.In general,fabrics still had good performance.
