The current ecological and resource problem has become a major problem restricting thesustainable development of social economy of our country， the frequent accidents ofenvironmental pollution， serious environmental pollution problems. To effectively protect theecological environment and rational utilization of resources to solve this problem， not onlyneed the progress of science and technology， renew ideas， more important is thegovernment’s support. The government as the main force of environmental protection， theenvironmental responsibility to implement and environmental consequences of positive act asa direct impact on the goal of environmental protection. In recent years， due to thegovernment and the environmental protection departments around the neglect and not as abehavior caused great environmental events such as growing. This shows that our countrygovernment environmental protection responsibilities shall be affixed on the system is notsound. Therefore， improve the system of government environmental responsibility is thepriority of environmental protection administration in our country.Based on the typical cases as the breakthrough point, first of all, this paper introduces thefive typical environment pollution case, analyzes the missing responsibility of the governmentin the event of an environmental pollution environment and investigated.
