Oilfield energy saving issue has been a concerning problem, energy-saving issue is notjust the purchase and installation of energy-saving equipment, when it comes tocomprehensive evaluation of energy-saving devices, we should take variable aspects intoconsideration, such as energy efficiency, applicable conditions, initial investment cost,operation and maintenance costs and running additional cost. However, it does not have acomplete theoretical system currently to analyze the energy-saving effect of energy-savingdevices in different well, this article is intended to establish a complete set of comprehensiveevaluation system, which can provide a reference for oilfield production managers to makeenergy-saving devices a better role. At last we can make a contribution to improve theefficiency of oil production.In this thesis, on the point of establishment of the comprehensive evaluation system forelectrical energy-saving devices, I use a combination of qualitative and quantitativeevaluation method and establish a scientific and comprehensive evaluation system. Firstly, Iread a lot of pumping unit energy saving references on the basis of a detailed analysis of theprinciple of pumping unit oil production and oilfield special load light load, low efficiency,and analyze the reasons for the phenomenon of “big horse cart”. The thesis main part firstlyestablishes a comprehensive evaluation model of energy-saving motors and energy-savingcontrol cabinet. Then I make the evaluation criteria clear, which is based on the actualsituation and the opinion of expert who works in the oilfield, while using AHP to determinethe weight of each index. In the case study, electric energy-saving equipment which hascommon application in the oil field gives scores in accordance with the evaluation model. Soit provides a quantitative evaluation criteria for oilfield electric energy-saving deviceselection, additionally, it has a qualitative evaluation of the electrical energy-savingequipment each and have talked about practical method of calculation of the motor power ofthe various types of electric energy saving device and how to just the application occasionsfor the oil fields of energy-saving devices. Considering the specific well conditions and quantitative evaluation score, a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods can givethe best matching program.
