With the development of the chlor-alkali industry, and the States raised strictpolicies on energy saving, environment protection, cleaning production, the problemsof denitrification in chlor-alkali industry need to be worked out. In fact, the sulfatesalt is a common anionic impurities in chemicals, which can affect many chemicaloperations in the chlor-alkali industry. The removal of sulfate salt and themaintenance of a low content are able to increase the efficiency of the electrode andanode life.The design of apparatus and process in chlor-alkali industry are analyzed in thisthesis. On account of the comparison of the characteristics of a series ofdenetrification processes, a highly effective membrane method was constructed.Meanwhile, this article focus on discussing the caustic soda plant design and itsrelated process of denitrification membrane. According to the comparison of theanalysis of two technology processes between barium chloride method and nitratedenitrification method, the membrane method is relatively a better one. Based on theintroductions of the special membrane characteristics, a Kai film in Xinjiang Zhongtaichemical membrane company, the related process contained device and apparatus wasimproved. The future of chlor-alkali industry is prospectively pointed out in boththeoretical and practical aspects in this article.
