Fluid mixing is an important influence factor of the temperature distribution,the concentration distribution and the reaction process in electrolysis of the electrolytic cell.Therefore,this paper puts forward the evaluation standard of the performance of the electrolytic cell by the fluid mixing.In this paper,the effects of two different methods on the fluid mixing in the anode of ionic membrane cell were studied by cold film experiment and computer simulation under different gas and liquid flow rate.Using simulation software,the simulation process of six different structures with the same condition was established,and the effect of the different slot types on the fluid mixing was analyzedResults showed that the accuracy of the simulation have been verified through compare the experiment and simulation.With improvement of current density(i.e.,improve the gas flow rate and liquid flow rate at the same time),the fluid mixing degree in the electrolytic cell is gradually reduced;Under constant liquid flow rate,the fluid mixing degree offered descending firstly than upgrade latter tendency.Under constant gas flow rate,the fluid mixing degree decreases with the increase of the liquid flow rate.The liquid flow rate is the main factors influencing the fluid mixing in the ionic membrane electrolytic cell of chlor-alkali industry.This study shows that the degree of fluid mixing can be used as evaluation standard of cell structure.The higher of the fluid mixing,the uniformer of temperature and concentration distribution in Cell.
