After entering the twenty-first Century, the developing trend of the machine tool Industryshows the characteristics of high precision, high speed and integration. In recent years, inorder to meet the demand of high efficiency, high precision, high hybrid processing ofgrinding, a kind of grinding machining center appears. Grinding center has the function ofautomatically changing and selecting grinding tools. Grinding center is typical of the complexeach grinding step, a fixture can be completed plain, inside and outside round, conical orcurved surface, such as efficient grinder grinding. Since there is only a single setup,processing benchmarks can be unified, thus ensuring the accuracy of each machining process.Compared with other CNC grinding, the biggest improvement is the ability to automaticallyselect and automatic exchange of grinding tools. Therefore, the wheel automatically replacetechnology is particularly important. Based on these, the paper analyzes the automaticreplacement of wheel technology, selected using the automatic tool changer holder in the formof replacement wheel technology, designed to change wheel robot, designed to improve thestructure of a pocket knife and pour magazine. Work done in this paper, are summarized asfollows.Thus,the automatically exchanging of grinding wheel technology is particularlyimportant. Based on this, this paper analysis the automatically replacing of grinding toolstechnology, selects the handle used for exchanging grinding tools, designs the toolexchanging manipulator,designs and improves the knife pouch and flail knife structure of toolmagazine. The work done in this paper are as follows.The present Domestic and foreign research status and application of grinding machinecenter and gripper aspect made more comprehensive overview, and described the purpose andsignificance of grinding center blade manipulator.From the theory and practice, introduction and summary of the mechanical structure andform of grinding machining center can take the form of automatic tool change shank.Describe of the requirement robot functional design and overall design system. On thebasis of the implementing agencies robot was designed, including vertical and horizontalgripper conversion mechanism, telescopic mechanism, rotating mechanism, liftingmechanism, including the design of the cylinder calculation and selection as well as its guideand other supporting systems complete the overall design of the robot.The Use of three-dimensional CAD software UG established the Three-dimensional solid model of the robot imported into ADAMS, kinematics and dynamics of the modelsimulation, use software Ver4.0pneumatic circuit characteristics and dynamics of pneumaticdrive system for motion simulation results.The basis of the structure traditional pocket analysis designed by three kinds ofpossibilities programs through various options analysis that decided to adopt Option III design.Improved flail device, added an auxiliary cylinder, the pocket can be thrown90°and180°.The last summarize the main contents of this paper and make the prospect of the nextstep.
