Ecological Security Evaluation Of Petroleum Resource-based Cities

With the rapid development of the world economy and accelerating process ofindustrialization, making the shortage of natural resources, a growing population,environmental polution and ecological destruction and other problems have becomeincreasingly prominent. The Petroleum resource-based cities because of the singleindustrial structure,consumption of resources,making ecological environment isparticularly fragile. To make the Petroleum resource-based cities take the road ofsustainable debelopment, ecological security is one of the essential part.Firstly, based on the ecological security, Petroleum resource-based citiescencept,relevant theories are reviewed and summarized, put forward the concept ofecological security of Petroleum resource-based cities.Secondly, based on pressure-state-reponse (PSR) model as the basis and combiningwith the method of analytic hierarchy process, to establish the system of ecologicalsecurity evalution indexes of Petroleum resource-based cities including29indexes,while taking advantage of Dlephi,APH, Entropy Weight Method to calculate weights,the final comprehensive weight, to weight of each method of weighting value,establish comprehensive weighting model.Thirdly, combined with relevant indicators of the standard limit value andcomprehensive weight results and normal distribution model, to divided the level ofecological security evalution of Petroleum resource-based cities, identify0.35is thecritical level of safety signs.Finally, taking the typical Petroleum resource-based cities Karamay as an example,the use of ecological security index method for ecological security Karamay2003to2012index is calculated. The main results are as follows:2003-2012Karamay cityecological security situation has been improved year by year, the overall level is stillat stage Ⅲ belong critical safety level, the overall ecological security situation is notvery good, still at a relatibely sensitive stage. The influence factors of ecological security Karamay mainly: Petroleum and natural gas industries accounted for the ratioof GDP is too large, the petroleum and petrochemical industry practitioners accountedfor a higher proportion of the whole staff, the third industries accounted for the ratioof GDP is lower, energy consumption of10thousand RMB GDP, sulfur dioxide emissionsmuchof10thousand RMB GDP higher than the standard limit value, per capita water resources is farbelow the national average, people have a number of beds lower than the national level.
