High temperature and high concentration of supersaturated ammonium nitrate solution was widely used in in the production of industrial explosive.It was storage at about120℃. It is safe and stable under the condition of normal use. But the supersaturation ammonium nitrate solution is oxidant and Can occur from the reaction of chemical substances. Nature is not clear after mixed with other impurities. This is related to the safe use of the high temperature and high concentration of ammonium nitrate solution. So the thermal stability of high temperature and high concentration of ammonium nitrate solution especially the influence of impurities on the decomposition has very important practical significance to produce industrial explosive safety.This study using C80micro heat to meter ammonium nitrate solution for thermal analysis. Through the theoretical analysis and thermodynamic parameters calculated to study the thermal stability of ammonium nitrate solution. In this paper,through thermal analysis experiments of the above samples have the following conclusions:(1)Ammonium nitrate is a kind of reactive chemicals. Under atmospheric pressure,that can occur redox reaction of molecules without the help of outside oxygen atoms. This kind of material can be action of a fire or explosion accident due to thermal decomposition.without external energy,(2)Generally water is an inert material for ammonium nitrate solution. That can inhibit the decomposition of ammonium nitrate by improve the initial reaction temperature. With the increase of concentration of ammonium nitrate Tonset and Ea decline. The difficulty of the reaction fall. Impurities of nitric acid iron which resulted the reduction activation energy of95%ammonium nitrate solution. Ferric nitrate have the catalysis to thermal decomposition of ammonium nitrate. Sodium chloride have an impact on the stability of high temperature and high concentration of ammonium nitrate solution. That can promote the thermal decomposition of ammonium nitrate and the higher temperature of the role in promoting the more obvious.(3) Oil material can reduce95%of ammonium nitrate solution apparent activation energy (Ea). The thermal decomposition reaction become easier. It has promoting effect to the thermal decomposition of ammonium nitrate solution. The content of impurity have a great influence on the rate of decomposition of ammonium nitrate solution. Reaction mechanism of different hybrid system high and low temperature condition. Under low temperature the hydrocarbon exotherm with nitric acid which decomposition by ammonium nitrate. At high temperature ammonium nitrate decomposition to generate N2O and Oil completely oxidation. Both reactions release a large amount of heat.
