The Research On Design And Manufacture Of Bamboo Mattress

Bamboo is an excellent green material, this study, based on the riped designing and manufacturing of mattress, and followed the guide of national standards, designed the basic structures of a bamboo mattress, and then acted the manufacturing. The study includes:[1] By analyzing the relevant national standards and indicators and mattress processing technology, creates a viable bamboo mattress structural design.[2] The pre-processing experiments of bamboo blocks show that as follow:0g-40g bamboo strings CAN NOT be pressed out of a bamboo block(200mm×200mm×40mm);50g and60g bamboo strings can BARELY formed it;70g-200g bamboo strings CAN be molded, wherein70g-110g bamboo blocks are flexible while bamboo blocks over120g are too hard to use.[3] The resilience experiments of bamboo blocks show that:the rebound rates of blocks which have similar density are close; generally speaking, as the density increases, the rebound rate decreases; the70g,40mm thick blocks, the80g,40mm thick blocks and the80g,50mm thick blocks CAN be used to make bamboo units.[4] Processing the bamboo units. Use chopsticks planing machine produce bamboo shavings, then filter out the appropriate length of bamboo strings. After washing, disinfection, antisepsis, drying treatment, process the bamboo strings into200mm x200mm x40mm,70g bamboo blocks. Then packed the blocks into woven bags, and use a heat sealing machine to seal the blocks. Finally, use a multi-needle quilting machine and a zigzag sewing machine to complete the bamboo units’ manufacturing.[5] Processing the bamboo mattress. Use processing technology of the existing mattress complete the bamboo mattress’ manufacturing.
