But in the past for a longperiod of time, the lack of understanding in relation to environmental protection andtourism development, leading to the environmental problems have become increasinglyprominent in the development boom of water conservancy scenic area, coupled withlack of experience in the development of this type of scenic, theoretical support is weak,tourism development activities and events bring pressure on the environment is alsoincreasing, causing environmental damage, waste of resources, development failure andother negative effects, some local tourism development is facing intense and sharpconflict,the persistence and depth of water conservancy scenic area in tourismdevelopment encounter bottlenecks.Therefore, this paper takes environmental protection as a starting point, firstlyintroduced the realistic background and significance of the research, and summarizedrelated concepts and theories of tourism development in water conservancy scenic area,proposed research’s contents, routes, methods; Secondly, generalized China’s waterconservancy scenic classification area, distribution and development model in detail,discussed the main existing problems; On this basis, combined with the requirements ofenvironmental protection, focused the relationship between environmental protectionand tourism development, from their consistency and conflicting,to explore how to coordinate the contradiction between the two aspects; Next, according to empirical casestudies, selected Heilongtan Scenic for the study, analyzed its status of tourismdevelopment, use of tourism environmental capacity calculation method, get its limitingfactors and main issues in the development, to find the root causes of the problem, themain reason and the specific reasons, explored the the principles of development basedon environmental protection,proposed appropriate countermeasures, providingsuggestion for tourism development in this type of Scenic. Finally, summarized resultsof the study, put forward the deficiency, and raised expectations for the angle and depthof study in the future.
