The Technical Improvement And Implementation For The Weihua Group’s First Phase Water Supply And Drainage System Based On DCS Technology

Shaanxi Weihe coal chemical industry Refco Group Ltd is a large-scale chemical company which was constructed in the "eight five" period in Shaanxi province. It’s a leading enterprise that applies the technology of modern coal chemical industry development and a new modern coal chemical industry in our country. Its first phase of the project---"Water supply and drainage device"was completed and put into operation in1995March and uses the control system that’s mainly based on hand-operation for nearly20years. Relatively old apparatus, instruments and equipments and relatively high costs of all kinds of equipment maintenance have caused great risks to the safe production. At the same time, various stations like wastewater treatment are distributed with a long front and dispersed widely. Besides, backward information collection and transmission mode have brought great inconvenience to production management decision-making and restricted the production and development of the enterprise severely.Thus, it’s very urgent and necessary to use computer network and control technology to upgrade and modify the system.The Application of DCS technology has improved the technology of the first phase of the control system for Weihua group.At the same time,it applies Split range control principle to the circulating water cooling tower pool level control system according to the actual production; self-tuning fuzzy PID control principle to total phosphorus content monitoring device in the circulating water; the turbine to replace the motor driven fan to the wind power system of the cooling tower. The technical improvement, not only to enhance the automation level of water supply and drainage device, ensure the smooth operation of water supply and drainage device; and can process real-time data uploaded to the production scheduling center, provides accurate, on line, real-time information and data to the correct decision of production management department. So the application of DCS technology realized the great enhancement of the company’s overall technological level and economic benefits.Applying DCS technology to improve and realize the first phase of water supply and drainage device conforms to industrial development policy of our country, Shaanxi province and Weinan city. It favours the industrialization of high and new technology application and promotion in the traditional chemical industry. Therefore, it has a momentous significance for building a harmonious society and protecting environment.
